The rapid growth of recent years will only be surpassed by that of the coming years. This means opening new stores at a high pace, but also introducing new product lines and categories, managing promotions at a global scale, improving service standards in the shops, etc. The Senior Manager Commercial Retail Operations plays a crucial role in achieving and maintaining world class retail operations practices in view of this increasing complexity.

Place in the organisation

The Senior Manager reports to the Head of International Retail Operations and is a member of the International Retail Operations Management Team at central head office in Amsterdam. She/he leads the Commercial Retail Operations team.

The role

As Senior Manager Commercial Retail Operations you will lead the roadmap towards cutting edge store and customer experience and excellent commercial practices in Rituals’ global retail operations. You drive and align contributors and stakeholders to support the global multi-format network of stores in delivering best in class sales, service and customer experience. You prepare, implement and continuously optimize all programs and tooling supporting commercial retail operations.

You have at least 10 years of relevant experience in complex, cross-border project management within a branded retail operations environment. Experience of working for a cosmetics brand is a plus.  You are persuasive, results-oriented, energetic and a structured self-starter with Mature communication skills and the ability to interact at all management levels. Your analytical skills enable you to convert insights into action, as well as to present these convincingly.
