The ForFarmers Group is an ambitious feed company, active in North-West Europe in the sectors swine, ruminant and poultry. The company offers Total Feedsolutions for conventional and organic livestock farming. The Director M&A and Integration is a staff member at group level, reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and is part of the leadership team (top 50) of ForFarmers. The director advises the board in M&A projects and participates actively in the integration of acquisitions into the ForFarmers organisation. The director also maintains an accurate profile of all main competitors in all countries.
Purpose of the role
Responsible for preparation of acquisition proposals together with the board members and the BU controllers/ group controller. The director actively manages the acquisition process including all reports to board and Supervisory Board (SB). The director is responsible for the integration plans for all acquired targets and drives the integration and synergy realisation together with BU management and/or COO. He/she actively provides the board with up to date profiles of the main competitors.
Is responsible for the M&A project proposals to board and SB
Ensures that the M&A projects are run according to the ForFarmers project approach
Ensures that the day-to-day process is run properly
Proposes the key advisors and manages them to conclude the projects on time
Maintains contacts with banks to be informed on movements in the M&A market
Creates together with the business the business cases and creates a synergy tracker.
Is responsible that all integration projects are run according to the ForFarmers standard approach
Is responsible for project reporting to board and SB
Drives the synergy realisation together with BU management.

- University level
- 8 – 10 years of relevant international experience
- Experience with complex M&A projects, including deal making
- Work experience in an investment banking environment, ideally added with some relevant business experience or equivalent job in a multinational
- Experience, or at least affinity, with the agricultural sector
- Experience with integration projects
- Experience with filing with competition authorities
- Financial back ground
- Since it concerns an autonomous position, the ideal candidate is very well capable of working independent, managing his/her own agenda and keeping all stakeholders alligned at the same time
